A pre-commencement meeting has been held for the construction of 55 kilometres Dunkwa- Twifo Praso-Assin Fosu Road.

The 18 months Cocoa Road Project is to begin in 14 days time. The contractor, Nana Kwesi Bosomefi of MAWUMS Construction Limited who held a meeting with the authorities of Twifo-Atti Morkwa District Assembly was also sent to site to determine where to start and where to end.

Scope of Works for the Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Aboabo-Asikuma-Dunkwa Road Project (Km 0.00-55.00)
The works involves the construction of a 55Km single carriageway road with two lanes to a double surface dressing finish. The duration for the project is 40 calendar months with commencement date being 9th March, 2020.  
Work activities involved include;
•    Earthworks
•    Pavement Works (Subbase and Base)
•    Surfacing Works (Primer seal, Firs seal and Second seal)
•    Construction of Drainage structures (concrete U-drains of various sizes, trapezoidal drains, pipe culverts of various sizes and configurations, reinforced concrete box culverts of various sizes and configurations 
•    Construction of reinforced concrete retaining wall 
•    Construction of bus bays
•    Road furniture works (traffic signs and road markings)
